If you’re a gamer who enjoys going back to the past and revisiting a great game or perhaps just someone who wants to play a classic for the first time, Microsoft has you covered with their backward compatibility program. As of now, 306 Xbox 360 games are playable on Xbox One with seven new games added today, three of which are EA games.

  • Battlefield 3
  • Battlefield: Bad Company 2
  • Dragon Age: Origins

It is yet to be seen if they will put these games into the EA Access Vault, but have added backward compatible games to the Vault before.

Check out some more gaming insight here.

In addition to EA’s offerings, four other games became backward compatible as well, including Strania, a 2D arcade shooter, and The Splatters, a physics-based puzzler. Also, don’t forget to check out Ghostbusters: The Video Game, one of my top games of 2009.

  • Strania: The Stella Machina
  • Scrap Metal
  • The Splatters
  • Ghostbusters: The Video Game

If you bought any of these games digitally in the past on Xbox 360 they will automatically show up in your Xbox One’s ‘Ready to Install’ list.
